LPG Accessory

Used to place components used to ply in the Low Pressure Gas Piping (LPG) sub-discipline.

  • Ribbon: Building Design > Mechanical > Place Plumbing Systems > LPG

Schema Properties example - LPG

Selecting a fitting from the ribbon panel activates the Place Component settings dialog, where you can manage the schema parameters (DG instance properties). Also, the contextual Placement tab appears on the ribbon, that provides placement settings options for the currently selected fitting.

The generic placement settings, along with the unique set of dimensional and data parameters from the datagroup system provide the core workflow used to accurately position mechanical components within a system.

LPG Fittings, majority with leak proof compression ends ensure safety of pipes for pressure gas flow.

A set of LPG compression equipment accomplish control of gas flow under varied pressure. LPG gas alarm with relay output, to operate gas solenoid valves, link to systems or sound remote alarms. The LPG Flow Meter provides accurate readings of the flow by conditioning the accelerated gas flow at straightening vanes in the meter. The dynamic forces of flow cause rotation to the turbine wheel of rotor attached to the display.

LPG Components properties set properties to set LPG piping layout.

Notable Properties

  • Connection End Type – The end conditions of pipe are set to compression, male or female connections with full dimensional control by setting the End Type property. Also, the two ends are independent, and may have different connections. For example, the value ce-0.2;fe-.03 creates a compression at End1 with size 0.2, and a female connection at End2 with a clearance of 0.3.
